Project & Breakbulk Cargo

Heavy-lift, out-of-gauge, and breakbulk cargo logistics — from oil & gas equipment to renewable energy installations across Sudan, Oman, and the wider region.

Project cargo requires a different discipline from general freight: port surveys, heavy-lift vessel selection, engineering-grade load calculations, multi-ministry permits, and coordination with port authorities who may have never handled the equipment before. LAM Global's project cargo division has moved turbines, transformers, drilling equipment, prefabricated structures, and oversized modules into Port Sudan and through the Sudanese inland corridor. Our team conducts pre-shipment route surveys, coordinates with Sudan Customs on out-of-gauge permits, arranges heavy-lift cranes at Port Sudan, and manages multi-modal inland transport including low-bed trucks and rail coordination to Khartoum.
